If you like chess, but find it to be too archaic for this modern technological era, might I suggest the very addicting, equally intellectually stimulating, Quadradius. Gameplay is similar to checkers, only random power-ups appear which you can use to attack your opponents, defend your own, or change the landscape of the board.

I've become increasingly addicted this game, so keep your eye out for a player named Unmarked. I'm really bad at it - like I've lost 8 in a row - so you'll probably beat me.
