Dan Savage, sex columnist extraordinaire, recently posted a breakdown of a particularly promising moment on the campaign trail.
Apparently, Obama was at a rally, discussing Rights and when the issue of gay rights came up, the overwhelmingly black crowd fell silent. Instead of simply moving on, however, Obama took the opportunity to confront them and communicate to them his reasons for supporting the gays.
Now, I know Obama's relative lack of experience is going to be a big issue, but Obama's unique ability to sway hearts and minds may be the strongest argument for his presidency.
