[ Race and the Race ]

An ineloquent numbers-laden article from the Washington Post tries to argue that black and white Americans are "divided along racial lines" when it comes to their opinions about race relations in our country. It says that 30% of whites and 34% of blacks believe blacks experience racial prejudice. A 4% difference doesn't seem very significant to me.

The article gets worse from there, laboriously trying to tie these figures back to Obama and then mentioning McCain's age-factor as a bit of an afterthought. Very odd.
