Okay. For the second time this week, I'm an idiot. Take a look at the post below. The postcard says, "I steamed open the vote--by-mail ballots in my office and kept the ones that voted YES ON 8." As in, the writer mailed the ones that said NO ON 8.
This is very curious, because all of a sudden, the image of this otherwise anonymous creator transformed from a ignorant cretin to a revolutionary. I imagine her in her cubicle, carefully steaming the ballots, and reveling in her private, tiny victory. This is, of course, much more palatable than the alternative, which had somebody old, who barely went to junior college, steaming open the ballots, because she believed she was doing God's work.
