Everyone get your radiation helmets on, because if you haven't already noticed things are going to start getting a little hysterical around here as the cost of oil continues to climb.

Many people believe that the oil companies are responsible for price-manipulation, but really, this is an issue of supply and demand. As China and India continue to industrialize, not only will the demand for oil increase, but so will the price at the pump.

The solution? Take public transportation. As the NYT explains, people are doing it in record numbers.
