[ Dan on Drugs ]

Most people know Dan Savage as a sex-columnist, but did you know he heads a weekly newspaper in Seattle? It's a hell of a publication, though pretty left-leaning (as most alternatives are) -- at the very least, the writers really commit to questioning the status quo (as most alternatives should).

So, on their blog this afternoon, Savage calls out The PI for their coverage of a pot bust in the North Cascades. It's pretty impressive.

Whether or not you think we should "legalize, regulate, and tax pot", you may at least be able to appreciate his analysis of drug-related news coverage.
